This was supposed to come out last night I forgot I was going to finish it off, then it was delayed even longer because everyone decided to wander off when I was ready to release.

I continue to forget to credit her, but nearly every color page is edited by our good friend spiritsilver. Any color page we have had that has more than the most basic of redraws has been done by her for the past 2-3 months (excluding this chapter.) Yes spirit, we do in fact appreciate your efforts.

10pm edit: I have a bunch of chapters to QC of everything else active, I’ll be trying to get those done after homework this week.

There is no significant change between the split releases and this release. This one has a new credits page, new filenames, and has been crushed for about 4mb space savings. I didn’t actually touch anything else. This is just so people have an easier way to get the entirety of volume 4 without having to deal with multiple zips. Split zips will go away when I get around to it or possibly when someone gets around to updating the release page. Split zips are gone.

I also, when reading through volume 2, noticed that there was a page missing and a duplicate in MangaScreener’s version. The duped page is 64 and here is the proper version, done by us.

In other news, ballzy has been making sort of regular updates to the wiki and I have created new categories for those of you wishing to just look for a certain series’ blog posts. Unrelated, Yoshitomi has revealed news of School Mermaid 2, it has started serialization as of this week/month. We will likely be doing this if scans ever show up.

So here’s the most horrible chapter yet, I have no words for what is going on here. Those of you who actually thought we delayed this for forest bear, thanks for the laughs.

*As a note, a few scanlators can be motivated by ego-boosts & “thanks” replies. So that’s even more reason for fans to say their thanks on fan-group’s websites, forums, & IRC channels.

Strays has been scanlating Vagabond for the past year and recently our translator decided to up and drop it with little notice. In order to continue providing good quality scans of Vagabond (or any scans at all) we need to find another translator. Proofreading, consistency, etc can be provided to prospective translators if they believe that might be a problem. As this is a weekly series we would like translations to come in a timely manner but we can work with any translator to work out some kind of schedule. Apply by leaving me message here, PMing me on mangahelpers, our forum (Not_Log on both,) posting a thread on our forum, or emailing us at strays [dot] scans@gmail.com . I can also be contacted on irchighway under the nick Log or Not_Log . Already replaced that took 2 minutes.

In other sad news, Magazine Z has recently been canned. This was the home to staff favorites Companion and Chevalier and it’s a shame to see it go.

In less terrible news, we will be adding some color bonus pages to Jackals with the help of sTFun.
